I’ve discovered an addon that I’m VERY excited about. It’s called Fizzwidget’s Reagent Cost. It requires that you have the Auctioneer addon (I think 3.4.2 or better). It merges Auctioneer’s median price data from your auction house scans, and applies them to your patterns/recipes in your profession windows. It does the math for you so if you need 5x of something, it multiplies it all out and figures out how much the item costs to make. And it goes one step further… You can use the command ‘/reagentcost report’ with a profession window open, and it will list which recipes/patterns are profitable based on current reagent prices, and the current market price of the crafted item.
