   As a skinner/LW, lots of times I wished I had dropped my profs for mining/herb or a gathring + enchanting (in fact I went mining/herb on my DK, and have had no money issues Hordeside, for my main or my 4 alts).

   Let me share a couple of skinning tips:

   * Rugged leather still sells very well. The best place I know of for it is the gorilla cave in Un Goro Crater. If people are questing through, corpses are there just for the skinning. But more importantly, the cave is one of the smaller ones, and respawns are fast.

   * for Borean leather, head to Sholozar basin. I find that the groups of gorillas there just to the east of the frenzyhearts are perfect – there is 1 group of about 12, then another just east again of 5, and then head just south to another 5-8 that can be rounded up. By the time you are done, the 1st group has started respawning!

   Although not skinning related, if you are looking for money from mobs faster than you can loot, go over & get involved in the frenzy-oracles war. Do NOT take the special transformation (you cant loot like that), but do take & buff one of your companion choices. Literally, you only need to get in a slight tag to have looting rights. if you had 2-3, people, and looting on FFA, I think you would be hard pressed to beat this one for mob grinding.

   Best place to farm leather and arctic fur is in storm peaks wolf’s got around 30 sec respawn and there’s a quest wolf that got respawn on 15 – 20 sec, both quest wolf and the trash wolf’s are easy to kill, i am playing a lvl 80 death knight and i farm around 100 leather very easy and fast inside that cave so it’s a perfect place to farm mats and skinning skills on.
   if u can farm over 1000 leather in on day there u broke my record whit 100, (didn’t play 24h i had school so was offline 8hours)

   I farm this location Often-

   Im ally tho – the worgs and worms in the Cave are good skinning (you get Borean Leather or Jungamunger scales from the worms)

   I usually farm Just outside the cave – the Herds of rhino (and Proto drakes that are hunting them) make a great path, the 3 large herds of rhino that spawn do so fast enough that as a DK i kill one Drake between them (so i can deathstrike my health up) before moving to the next herd, and as i make laps , the respawn works out in my favor

   I farm for about an hour a day
   Yesterday morning:

   1hr-
   88 xBorean leather
   2 x borean leather scraps
   5x icy dragonscale
   4x Arctic fur
   5x lvl75 green drops (3-7g vendor each)
   33g 54s in Grey drops (various ice weapons,horns, and stinky fur)

   add that up and the arctic fur alone justifys the hour grind, the scales go for between 2-4g each on my server, the leather was enough for 14 x Heavy Borean leather

   thats one hour for 2 LVLs in LW(above430) or about 300G

   Ive been making pieces of the “Eviscerator’s Battlegear” and it Sells like hotcakes on my server (100g+ for the pants)

   Alright so I started to farm this spot after I read this post. I swear its an awsome spot to farm. I made about 300g in 2 and half hours yesterday! I am a lvl 80 rogue and dont have awsome AOE but for mages,locks, etc who have alot of AOE can pwn this and make ALOT. Remember you gotta have 430+ skining and alot of bag space. And instead of selling the borean leather make it in2 Heavy Borean Leather. I dont have LW but I have a friend that flips it for me. I am so excited to make more money this way. It might be a little boreing but I do it while watching TV, listening to music or talking to some friends. In a nutshell, I highly recomend this farming spot.

   As a druid, this farming spot is superb. I read this and decided to go as a last-thing-to-do-today thing. About 25 minutes in i already had 80 leathers. The wolves spawn fast and If you have good AoE (mages, hunters and druids mainly) you can get many many pieces of leather fast. Highly recommended spot.

   I go here almost every day/night now. I farm the Wolves for about an hour and then move to the drakes and rhinos and swap between them for a bit so I don’t get bored. I’m an 80 Hunter to its really easy to solo all the mobs.

   Farmed 1 hour in each spot:

   over 200 Borean Leathers (20 stacks sell for 10g each)
   13 Arctic Furs (20g each)
   20+ Icey Dragon Scales (Vender Trash, maybe 20-30g)
   Vender Trash (over 100g)
   Several Greens (100g, if lucky enough)
   And I had one blue that sold for 20g

   as the other guys said this is a awesome spot for skinning. there is place in gundrak at tne far northern part. the raptors there drop about 2 pieces of boren leather a piece at times. i like this spot but it will never beat the spot in storm peaks… just letting you guys know

    hy, i am at 300 skining with my 65 druid. What level skinning is Storm Peaks for future use? and is it the wolfs, rhinos and worms to skin? thanks:)

    Well…the cave you guys are talking about in storm peaks is good but right outside of the cave in that area there are TONS of rhinos…i made about 300g in 30 mins (depending on how well Borean Leather and Arctic Fur is selling for on your server) and i didnt get a lot of Arctic Fur so thats a good spot too..
