Low Level Gold-making

If you only have a few silver, buying and reselling can be difficult. So here's what you do: after the week of scanning to build up market data, use the Enchantrix addon to scan for items that Disenchant into materials more valuable than what the item is selling for! Look under the Tools page for Enchantrix, where I explain how to do this. But since I've discovered the functions of that addon, I've been buying things for 6-10s and DEing them into dust/essences/shards that sell for 25-95s. Turning 10s into 50s is a neat little trick! Do it a few times and you'll have enough gold to start bidding on other items in the AH! This is absolutely the BEST way for low-level players to start ramping up their capital quickly. (I still think a level 70 would make gold faster killing for an hour than DEing little stuff for an hour, though.)

Now that you've done those steps, you're ready to use the rest of this site to start making gold. Pay special attention to the Auction House page, as this will be your main strategy. But also become familiar with the sites listed in the Tools page, as that will help you learn what you need to know to become an expert at making gold in WoW!

As proof that even a lowbie can do this, let me illustrate by telling you about two deals I made this week! I bought a Large Glowing shard for 1s. I sold it for 1g 25s. I found this deal by using Auctioneer. Even a LOWBIE can spend 1s to make 1g!! Another deal just this week was the Feet of the Lynx. They are level 19 blue boots, that I bought for 56s. I sold them for 35g!!
